Up Close With the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle "Dark Iris" & "Sesame"

Even though the first batch of sacai x Nike VaporWaffles have yet to see the light of day, we're already getting up close and personal with their Spring 2021 line-up. First leaked all the way back in August, these shots have got us more hyped than ever!

Previewed here in two ultra unique colourways, the "Dark Iris" is painted in a predominantly purple colour scheme with "Campfire Orange" accents gracing the Nike Swoosh and heel. The "Sesame", on the other hand, is drenched in a clean cream hue with tones of "Blue Void" for the perfect amount of contrast.

Both pairs do away with Chitose Abe's usual Flyknit construction in favourite of a puffy nylon finish, and of course, it wouldn't be a sacai x Nike collab with the Japanese imprint's signature deconstructed touches. From the tongues to the midsole, pretty much every single aspect has been doubled up for an aesthetic that is quite literally twice as nice.

Pretty much nothing else is known about the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle Spring 2021 line-up at this moment in time, though we expect it to launch at the start of next year alongside the "Black" and the "White".
