UPDATE 01/10/2020 - Yeezy Boost 350 v2 “Carbon”, formerly “Asriel”, is now releasing on Friday, October 2nd 2020.
The Yeezy of 2020 - and it's easy to see why. For the first time ever, Kanye West has combined a black upper with a white midsole, resulting in an insanely versatile shoe that's sure to sell out within minutes, and now, we're getting up close and personal!
Brand new shots courtesy of sneaker insider @yankeekicks, the "Asriel" gets its unique name from the Biblical term for "helped by God". With a full Primeknit construction, it bears a striking resemblance to last year's "Yecheil" but with a monochromatic makeover that keeps things black and grey. A breathable mesh stripe shoots across the lateral side panel, and Ye's brand new "infinite" lacing system makes an appearance here for the ultimate fit.
As you can see from these photos the pull tab has been removed from the heel for a sleek and streamlined aesthetic, and down below, the adidas Boost unit has been dipped in an off-white hue that's as clean as it gets. Not only is this one of the most comfortable technologies in the game, it's also pretty lightweight too so it won't feel like you're lugging two cinder blocks around like some competitors.
Expected to launch sometime next month in September, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Asriel" is already being lauded as one of the most popular Yeezy Boost 350 V2s of all time. Make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news and release info as it develops, and while you're here, you might as well take your first look at the Yeezy QNTM "Ophanim"!
