Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, the Nike Air Force 1 is a classic silhouette that’s been around the block a few times, introduced by Bruce Kilgore back in 1982. The Swoosh brand is offering up plenty of fresh iterations for 2022, including the Nike Air Force 1 Low Cut-Out “Game Royal”. Showcasing the legendary AF1 in a fresh light, the pair plays on the Swoosh logo and also utilises a classic colour scheme.

Crafted from premium tumbled leather across the uppers, much of the silhouette is decked out in clean white and the panelling stays true to the OG design. The Swoosh logos and other details are offered up in blue, while the large Swooshes on the lateral and medial sides contain cut-out logos too. Nike Air logos reside on the tongue and heels, while the insoles are also branded to keep things consistent.

Plenty of other thoughtful details are featured here, for example the perforated toe box that’s typical of the AF1 or AJ1. This all sits on top of a white chunky midsole that conceals a full-length Nike Air cushioning unit, making this one of the comfiest pair of kicks you can buy right now. If you’re searching for a timeless sneaker that you can seldom go wrong with an AF1!
