Velvety Suede Decorates This Autumnal Nike Air Force 1 Shadow

We didn't need further convincing that the Air Force 1 Shadow is one of our favourite silhouettes of all time, however Nike have absolutely pulled it out of the bag with the autumnal-hued Nike Air Force 1 Shadow Sail Grey Ivory. Recently, we've been bombarded with pastel and neon colourways which are perfect for the summer months, however, as the colder weather starts to rear its ugly head, we are definitely looking to add something a bit more neutral to our rotation.

Thankfully, this Air Force 1 Shadow ticks all the boxes. We're popping all our pinks and greens into storage, and looking for those more understated tones that suit our fall 'fits. Starting off, this AF1 sees a gum-coloured outsole melt into a creamy, chunky midsole. The double Air branding is present on the rear part of the sneaker, with the overlay coming in a muted 'Mocha' tone that is perfect for the time of year.

On the upper, purple-toned grey suede dresses the toe cap, eyelets and ankle panelling, whilst "Sail" smooth leather constructs the rest of the body. A leather Swoosh sits on the lateral sidewall, where its iconic 'shadow' comes in a slightly darker tone for maximum effect. This beige matches to the heel panel, where Nike branding is embroidered in lower case, corresponding to further logos on the double-stacked labels at the top of the tongue.

A light-mauve material takes over the tongue, whilst a further pop of blue can be found on the lace lock. Perforations are scattered across the toe box, as usual, ensuring that enhanced breathability is guaranteed with this pair. All done up with an off-white lace unit, this really is one of the prettiest Shadows we've seen in a long time.
