Vans has been rolling in the high heat collabs lately. From Alexander Lee Chang to 'The Nightmare Before Christmas', the Anaheim-based skatewear brand is just one of the very few labels out there that can make any partnership work like a charm. Now, they've reunited with Vivienne Westwood to rework some of their most iconic silhouettes, and here's everything that you need to know!
Releasing as part of the 'Anglomania' collection, the six-piece range includes models like the Sk8-Hi, the Slip On, and the Old Skool. No one model is similar to the other, with each one featuring their own unique style, colourway, and design. For instance, one of the Slip Ons are dipped in Vans' signature checkerboard with the British fashion designer adding her own punk-inspired spin to the pattern, while another Sk8-Hi is painted all over in a clean tan hue complete with postcard-like detail across the laterals addressed to Westwood herself.
Each shoe features co-branded insoles, and showcases the legendary orb logo in some way or another, emphasising the collaborative nature of the shoe. Some sneakers are also adorned with "V.W."; initials.
Hands down one of the most hyped collabs of the season, the Vivienne Westwood x Vans 'Anglomania' collection is set to release on September 20th at Vans and select retailers. Expected to sell out pretty quickly, make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier and you'll be notified as soon as these launch!
