We're Obsessed With the Vintage-Looking Nike Dunk High GS "Grey Sail"

If 2021 was the year of the Nike Dunk Low, it’s the high-top version that seems to be stealing the show this year. With plenty of cute colourways set to drop within the next few months, the team at Nike are still managing to keep the heat coming with each new pair. The latest iteration to be revealed could be one of our favourites yet, thanks to its super clean, vintage-looking colour scheme, so get ready to meet the newest Grade School-sized Dunk to join your wish list – the Nike Dunk High GS “Grey Sail.”

Arriving in the Dunk’s usual smooth leather construction, the “Grey Sail” Dunk High GS swap’s out the Dunk’s classic white base for something a little different. Instead, the Dunk High “Grey Sail” sees the shoe’s titular hues dress the pair, with a light “Sail” base giving way to smooth, slate grey overlays that wrap themselves around the upper. The same slate-coloured shade appears on the Nike Swoosh, which sweeps across the side of the shoe in its usual fashion.

Underfoot, a “Sail” midsole gives the “Grey Sail” Dunk a pre-aged look, whilst a dark grey outsole caps the colourway off. The vintage-inspired details continue on the classic Nike branding at the top of the tongue tab, which also adds a pop of orange for an extra point of detail. A pair of slate grey laces ties the “Grey Sail” GS Dunk High colourway together.
