Which New Yeezy Silhouette Are Sneakerheads Most Excited For?

With the release of the Yeezy Boost 380 'Alien' just around the corner, we asked our Twitter followers which new Yeezy silhouette they are most excited for. While we didn't include every single one that's lined up, including the 500 High and the Foam Runners, we made sure to cover the main ones that are sure to cause a storm when they finally launch.

To kick it all off, the Yeezy 451 is the least hyped silhouette at just 10%. This is a massive surprise considering how excited sneakerheads were when they first surfaced at the beginning of 2018, but it just goes to show how important timing is when it comes to sneakers. After a ton of leaks, teasers, and delays, people are no longer talking about the insanely-designed shoe, and whether or not it will ever release is a mystery in itself.

Next stop, we have the Yeezy Quantum which garnered a total of 18% of the votes, and honestly, this percentage doesn't really shock us at all. Previously dubbed the BSKTBL, this shoe is made for basketball players, complete with a high top design and an oddly-shaped ankle portion that may not be everyone's cup of tea. Additionally, a lot of sneakerheads actually preferred the early samples that leaked back in September 2018, so when images of the Quantum first surfaced, many were left pretty disappointed.

In third place is the Yeezy 700 V3 with a massive 24% of the votes. Serving as the third generation of Ye's chunky sneaker, it's unlike anything we've seen before. While the V2 took a lot of design cues from the V1, the V3 looks like a completely different line of shoe, and we aren't even mad. A lot more streamlined compared to its predecessors, it's got a sleek new midsole and a clean upper that actually glows in the dark. No wonder a quarter of those surveyed are excited for these.

To no one's surprise, the most hyped silhouette is the Yeezy Boost 380. Commanding almost half of the votes with a whopping 48%, this shoe was previously known as the Yeezy Boost 350 V3, but due to its ultra unique design, Yeezus just made it an entirely new shoe. With a clean sock-like Primeknit upper, the midsole bears a striking resemblance to the unit seen on the 700 V3, perhaps hinting at the future of what's to come from the Yeezy brand.
