After going intergalactic for its Spring/Summer 2022 offerings, Copenhagen streetwear imprint Wood Wood is back and ready to showcase its latest selection of goods. This latest collection sees Wood Wood embrace Seattle's famed music scene from the '90s for inspiration, resulting in a selection of stylish retro pieces.
During the '90s, Seattle birthed bands such Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, all of which went on to be global successes. As a result, Seattle natives started to replicate the same style showcased by their rock icons, leading to a unique fashion at the time.
This latest Wood Wood selection aims to replicate that same style across a collection of men's and women's garments. Included, we see shirts, trousers, jackets, sweats, suits and even dresses, all of which inherit distinctive techniques from the time. These techniques include lithograph printing, collage and thermographic reproduction.
Highlights from the collection include a matching shirt and bottoms set. With a loud print sporting a trio of blue hues, this pairing is guaranteed to draw a fair share of attention. The Wood Wood Pre-Fall 2022 collection will arrive later this year. In other news, Anthony Hopkins stars in the LOEWE Pre-Fall 2022 campaign.
