Virgil Abloh's contemporary street-wear brand, Off-White is soon to become a major name in the 2017 sneaker roster. According to sources, at least 10 collaborative shoes are releasing for a mammoth Nike pack that's already creating waves across social media.
Given this hype it's not surprising that some creative individual chose to flip the switch and imagine what an adidas x Off-White collaboration would look like.
This is surely one of the most impressive custom sneaker jobs of 2017. Just take a look at the painstaking attention to detail.
Not only has the 'Triple White' colourway been adorned with the signature oversized branding in quotations marks but two panels of the three stripe lace cage have been removed. For a brand that loves to break convention, it's just what you'd expect if this collab was ever to go ahead.
Posted on the Insta account of edmondlooi, the artist has named this creation the 'Industrial Boost'. It's finished with a chunky gold overlay, red synthetic tag and the lettering 'NO AIR NEEDED' along the Boost unit.
What are your thoughts? Is this a worthy opponent to all those Off-White x Nike releases, scheduled to launch during the summer months? Leave us a comment below or join the discussion on our social media pages.
