ICYMI, Yeezy season is well and truly underway. Earlier this month we were treated to plenty of Yeezy Day restocks, but now Ye's brand looks to the future, with three new pairs having surfaced ready for the months ahead.
Whilst the autumn/fall season is usually synonymous with neutral browns and earthy colour palettes, Ye (being Ye) continues to switch things up by initially offering three light-coloured pairs. Spanning the Yeezy 700 V3, Yeezy Boost 350 V2 and Yeezy CMPCT silhouettes, the pairs arrive in shades of jade, white and grey – and whilst not the most autumn-friendly colour schemes, they’ll still make super-clean additions to your rotation.
The Yeezy 700 V3 “Fade Salt” sees the V3 silhouette continue its recent fade theme, although the monochrome appearance of this pair makes them a much more wearable option than the iterations we’ve seen before. Striped shades of white, black and grey take over the upper, and a more solid, stormy grey dresses the tongue, lacing system and collar. As with previous versions of the silhouette, the “Fade Salt” V3 features a glow-in-the-dark TPU cage, and a cream-coloured sole unit sits underneath.
The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Jade Ash" follows on from this year's "Dazzling Blue" release, and again takes inspiration from earlier pairs, with a solid stripe making its way across the sidewalls. Arriving in a subtle washed-out green colour, the "Jade Ash" 350 V2 sees the shoe take on its usual Primeknit and Boost construction, with a tonal semi-translucent casing wrapping its way around the comfy midsole.
Having seen a couple of colourways launch already this year, the Yeezy 350 V2 CMPCT “Slate Bone” could well be the toned-down version fans have been waiting for. The low-profile silhouette is still a fairly new addition to the 350 family, sitting alongside the usual V2 instead of taking its place as a V3 version. The “Slate Bone” CMPCT 350 V2 sees the sock-like sneaker arrive in a palette of grey and cream, with tonal shades of the former making up the knit upper, and the latter rounding out the pair on the adidas Boost midsole.
Right now, it’s expected that the Yeezy 700 V3 “Fade Salt” will drop in September, and the Yeezy 350 V2 CMPCT and Yeezy 350 V2 will follow in October and November respectively. Until then, be sure to keep it locked to The Sole Supplier for all the latest sneaker news, and hit those release reminders above to set your drop notifications nice and early.
Up next, Ye's new Yeezy Gap shades will transport you to 3022.
