Yeezy x Gap Is Still Going Ahead According to Gap CEO

We first heard word on the street regarding a collaboration between YEEZY and Gap all the way back in June last year and it’s safe to say we haven’t heard a whole lot since. Things must have been busy in Kanye West’s world as of late as he continues to break records marketing the YEEZY brand alongside dealing with circulating rumours of a divorce between him and his wife Kim Kardashian.

While many have been wondering if YEEZY x Gap is still on the cards, Gap’s CEO Sonia Syngal revealed in an interview with Business of Fashion that it is still very much going ahead. She states - “I spoke to Yeezy last night and he’s very, very focused on this incredible opportunity.” West has reportedly been working incredibly hard over at his Wyoming ranch to produce garments for the collection, which is set to be made available at an accessible price point.

As of yet there’s no official launch date set for the upcoming collection, although we do know that it’s set to be extremely popular and will likely sell out in an instant.
