Yohji Yamamoto's discord Sub-Label Showcases Luxury Accessories for SS22

The king of asymmetrical style, Yohji Yamamoto is back, and this time he looks to expand to the works with his signature discord sub-label. This particular collection focuses on accessories and looks to equip a range of wooden panels across bags and accessories.

With Yohji Yamamoto's mainline collection recently seeing the addition of wooden panels and buttons across its outerwear, it looks like Yamamoto is keen on further exploring the idea for this latest discord accessories collection. Previously, we saw trench coats and similar silhouettes feature these shapes, further adding uniqueness to Yamamoto's already distinctive work.

In the latest capsule entitled "NAMU", we see both shoulder bags and tote bags embrace these latest stylistic imprints. First up, we see the "ANANAS" bag, a piece that oddly resembles a pineapple, as well as Yamamoto's gathered dress look. Moving on, tote additions see tonal black wooden panels hanging from the handle of each piece, creating a visual disparity between the two fibres.
