After debuting the viral creation at Paris Fashion Week last month, art collective MSCHF has pulled out all the stops for its “Big Yellow Boot” Drop. The pair, made in collaboration with footwear disrupter Crocs, was originally teased by TOMM¥ €A$H at the Rick Owens show, but the official launch campaign is fronted by none other than Paris Hilton. In her own words, that’s hot.
Standing out against a plain white background, the socialite dons a series of Kill Bill-style black and yellow outfits, wearing the MSCHF x Crocs Big Yellow Boots on foot. As for the boots themselves, the pairs have been created with Crocs’ signature perforated look in mind and an ankle strap that comes stamped with the Crocs logo, although MSCHF did confirm that they were crafted in the same factory as their infamous red-coloured predecessor.
Now, for the moment you’ve been waiting for - the release info. If you’re not quite sick of sillybillycore just yet, then you’ll be pleased to know that this collab is set to see a release. MSCHF’s website and app will be running a 24-hour long raffle on the 9th of August, but bear in mind that at $450, it's a pretty expensive way to get in on the meme.
Up next, here's an early look at the Nike Dunk Low "Powerpuff Girls" pack.
