New Balance's stellar run of collaborations shows no sign of slowing down this year. With more on the way from Aimé Leon Dore and Joe Freshgoods, the Boston-based brand are also set to team up with streetwear fave BAPE for two new takes on the New Balance 57/40. Taking on BAPE’s signature camo print, the BAPE x New Balance 57/40 is set to come in two colourways, so let’s take a closer look.

BAPE x New Balance 57/40 Multi
First up, the BAPE x New Balance 57/40 “Multi” gives BAPE’s camo a standout look, with a number of different colours appearing across the sneaker. Pink, Orange and Blue suede overlays sit atop a white mesh base, whilst BAPE’s signature shark tooth graphic wraps its way around the heel. New Balance’s ‘N’ logo has received a multicolour BAPE camo update, and ‘A Bathing Ape’ branding can be spotted on the lateral heel, whilst the brand’s Ape Head motif appears on the tongue tab.
If the “Multi” is too much for you, the “Black Grey” BAPE x New Balance 57/40 is a much more muted option. Branding hits appear in all the same places, yet the shoe takes on a tonal black, white and grey look. Both pairs look to feature 3M detailing on the shark tooth print, and are set to come in special-edition branded boxes for a premium finishing touch.
Both pairs of the BAPE x New Balance 57/40 collab are set to release very soon, but be sure to hit the release reminders under the images to be notified as soon as they’re available!
