Many say that 2022 will be a successful year for Boston sportswear giant New Balance—although 2021 already was as well. Either way, the number of covetable sneakers that have surfaced online show that serious NB collectors have plenty to be excited about. The New Balance 990v6 "Navy" is definitely one of the ensembles that are on our must-have list, and we're taking our first ever closer look at the pair right here!
For those that didn't know, the V6 is the sixth instalment to New Balance's 990 silhouette, which has remained a prominent player in the sneaker game since its 1982 inauguration.
The currently-unreleased 990V6 was teased first by Aimé Leon Dore's founder Teddy Santis, now the creative director of New Balance's Made in US line. Following the highly anticipated "Grey" that still has no official release date, this NB990V6 "Navy" is no different in construction—premium mesh and suede toolings accompanied by a FuelCell sole unit.
