We first saw images of the Nike Dunk Low “Jackie Robinson” surface late last month, with the pair honouring the first African American player in the MLB. Offered up in a clean blue colourway and showcasing plenty of special-edition features, these are absolutely a pair that many sneakerheads will be looking to add to their rotations, so here’s the latest images circulating the internet.
The uppers showcase classic Dunk colour blocking and use supple tumbled leather along with brushed suede, with the hits of royal blue accentuated with off-white accents for a clean combination. Branding comes in the form of a 75th anniversary tongue tab, all-over graphics detailing Robinson’s quotes on equality and of course the famous Swoosh logo on the lateral and medial sides.
Laces showcase stitching similar to baseballs while other classic additions include perforated toe boxes and Nike embroidery on the heels. This all sits on top of a white midsole that conceals full-length cushioning while a black outsole rounds off the design and completes the look.
As of yet, there’s no official or rumoured release date set for this upcoming pair, however make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest as it develops, and while you are here check out your first look at the Nike Dunk Low “Panda 2.0”!
