Known for his monochromatic sketches that took the sneaker world by storm, artist Joshua Vides is teaming up with New Balance for the first time ever to launch two collaborative sneakers. Both the Joshua Vides x New Balance 57/40 and the Joshua Vides x New Balance 327 are set to release in the coming days and will no doubt be popular with sneakerheads across the globe.
While Vides has previously joined forces with Converse, this is the first time he’ll be working with NB on a capsule and the duo have chosen two contemporary silhouettes for the job. Much like his artwork, both sneakers are decked out in black and white colourways and also display paint splatter details.
First up is the 57/40, with a primarily white base layer crafted from suede and synthetics. New Balance’s N logo makes an appearance on both the lateral and medial sides, while dual branding is present on the tongue, with a chunky midsole finishing off the look. The 327 instead opts for a blacked-out aesthetic, with white paint splatters and laces varying the look. A gum outsole adds an additional layer of depth to the colourway.
If you’re keen on either of the two models, the great news is that the pack is set to release on the 6th November, so you won’t have to wait too much longer if you’re looking to pick these up.
