Texas-based skate shop No Comply teams up with fellow Texan club Austin FC and adidas to debut this new Originals silhouette blending football and skateboarding in one shoe. While the German sportswear giant has a vast collection of football boots and cleats, none compare to this skate-focused iteration. The No Comply x adidas Austin FC Copa Premiere “Black” is an ode to the ‘90s vibrant football kits infused with Austin FC’s uniform colours and No Comply’s signature labels.
Founded in 2007, No Comply has one of the largest skateboard selections in the USA. The brand’s expertise in providing skateboards gave beginners confidence and brought assurance to elite-level skaters on high-quality boards. This three-way collaboration between No Comply, Austin FC, and adidas marks a significant milestone for all brands. The shoe has black leather construction similar to ‘90s football trainers, with textile quarter panels for breathability. White serrated 3-Stripes adorn the sides, with a pop of green on the front section and No Comply branding on the rear. Co-branded Austin FC and adidas labels appear on the heel and sockliner. Modified for skateboarding purposes, the hybrid adidas Austin FC Copa Premiere silhouette has a black foam midsole for cushioning and a green semi-translucent outsole for a consistent board feel and grip.
