The adidas Arkyn White Gum is one of the newest colour ways of the brand new silhouette. adidas brought out the Arkyn last month with Kendall Jenner as the face and since then have released multiple colour ways.
The neutral hues of this silhouette give a softer, feminine appearance matched with the distinctive upper. The lace design on these sneakers is very different to most others – a crisscross type effect. These laces cross over to the edges of the shoe just three times: from the toe section, over to the middle of the sole, spanning the entirety of the sneaker and then up to the top of the foot, where they fasten.
Plastic triangular detailing where the laces weave through are a point of interest on these sneakers. The traditional three stripes on the side of these sneakers sit in a similar colour yet stand out between the gaps of the laces. All of the different materials such as the mesh tongue and lace detailing on these sneakers give these adidas sneakers a real different edge.
The Arkyn have an elasticated upper, inspired by heritage running shoes with a modern twist. The sock like shape of these sneakers is stretchy for ultimate comfort and hugs your foot as you would expect with a subtle gradient like detailing on the cuff of the shoe. The boost used for the midsole will provide cushioning and add that extra bit of bounce to your step.
