Masters of footwear literature Hartcopy links up with adidas to release a tasteful version of the BW Army trainer. Having worked with other footwear brands in the past for a run of exclusive drops, this shoe marks the studio’s first official collaboration. As the GAT continues to poke out its head, the once military-based model is taken down a new direction with this limited edition. The details are truly where the shoes come alive, with Hartcopy’s signature Typo the most visible form of branding on the upper, an impressive feat considering its status as a debut collaboration. Veering off from the standard tooling, the T-toe is not formed from a suede but instead opts for a light grey nubuck that can also be spotted across the rear heel tab. A global release then hit the adidas CONFIRMED app on the 5th of December 2024, with people only able to purchase the BW Army with a six digit unlock code. These codes were only given out through certain Instagram accounts such as @sabukaru.online, giving you the chance to dish out three more codes to your friends once you used your allocated code.
