KoRn x adidas Campus 00s Black Gum

From a mid-90s song to reality! Globally-acclaimed nu metal band KoRn unveils its official debut collaboration with adidas featuring an apparel and sneaker collection. Formed in 1993, the band pioneered the nu-metal rock genre, forever changing the music industry with the band’s unique style. This KoRn x adidas Campus 00s “Black Gum” flaunts storytelling details that resonate with the band’s design aesthetics. From the co-branded labels and purple guitar pick, fans will eagerly blast the band’s music while rocking these kicks!

The shoe has a stealthy all-black suede base, offset by white stitching and serrated 3-Stripes on the side panels. Co-branded adidas and KoRn branding adorn the skate-inspired padded tongue and leather heel tab, marking a significant milestone for the band who rocked the 3-Stripes early in their careers. Taking notes from the band's title font, the usual 'CAMPUS' spellout is scribed on in KoRn's thorny font. Co-branding continues on in the sockliners, making the nu metal band's presence felt once again.

An extra set of purple and black fat boi laces arrive in box, giving you the option to match either the dark palette or the dangling guitar pick that comes attached via the eye stay. The hits of purple pays homage to the custom adidas Firebird tracksuit donned by lead vocalist Jonathan Davis during the A.D.I.D.A.S (all day I dream about sex) music video from 1997, a detail also referenced on the reverse of both of the tongues. The pair also turns up in a special box, mimicking the carrying cases that rodies use on tour to protect the band's equipment and speakers. Finishing off the package are the black midsoles and gum outsole, keeping things grounded on this adidas Campus 00s.
