adidas Climacool 02/17 Grey

Here we take a closer look at the adidas Climacool 02/17 Grey – one of the hyped releases coming this August for this brand-new range. Celebrating 15 years of ClimaCool technology, the 02/17 arrives as a homage to the old school yet featuring a modern day aesthetic.

The upper is far more unassuming and stylish than the OG. The soft crafted mesh complete with those signature breathable holes looks especially good in this contemporary construct. It rises slightly higher at the ankle with the addition of a neoprene heel panel for support at the rear.

Tonal details are marked throughout to match the grey coloured upper. That includes the welded three stripes across the sidewall, laces and tongue branding. The only contrast comes in the form of the chunky white midsole which sits underfoot. This features a rising translucent midsole shank, designed to offer additional protection from the elements.
