Description
The Shoe Gallery x adidas Climacool 1 Black marks the final collaborative effort as part of the Consortium tour for 2016.
Leaving one of the most eye-catching releases until last, adidas deliver a beautiful transformation of an icon with the help of Miami based Shoe Gallery. It comes as no surprise that this US based sneaker retailer finally gets some recognition in the form of a high profile collab. Sneaker fanatics travel far and wide to visit this store so it would only make sense that they make an appearance on the Consortium tour.
Shoe Gallery looked to the vibrant city of Miami as inspiration. More specifically the glowing neons of South Beach and colourful bar fronts. This is represented through the black mesh of the Climacool where an Xeno lining sits underneath. As you’ll no doubt be aware this futuristic and trademarked material glows in a kaleidoscope of colours when hit with light. It gives a one of a kind look that gives the appearance of an electronic light shimmering through.
Elsewhere and much of the shoe stays true to the original with a black mesh upper and synthetic overlays for added support. Finally, a black midsole sits underfoot with a red outsole as one last playful touch.
The Shoe Gallery x adidas Climacool 1 Black is scheduled to release on Friday 6th January via the retailers listed.
