2016 has been a busy year for Tokyo based White Mountaineering. Their ongoing collaboration with adidas has seen some highly styled apparel and footwear hit shelves. Many of the contemporary pieces have sparked controversy across social media. Some have loved the simplistic and often futurist designs, while others haven’t been so impressed.
With that being said, this latest EQT seems to be universally loved by sneakerheads. It’s selling out quick which isn’t surprising given the unique colourway and individual detailing. The words ‘White Mountaineering’ are plastered on the integrated lacing system which instantly distinguishes the design as a joint effort.
A vibrant shade of petrol blue across the mesh upper is another unique touch while a white midsole contrasts underfoot. Thankfully, all the classic EQT elements are featured such as the extended three stripe branding and OG branding throughout.
The adidas White Mountaineering EQT Blue is scheduled to release on Monday 1st August via the retailers on the right hand side.
