adidas Gazelle x Foot Industry Black Cream

Japanese footwear development brand Foot Industry taps adidas for their AW23 collection, the second project in their growing partnership. Honouring the ‘80s retro style and preeminence of terrace trainers, the pack includes four Gazelle iterations (two being Gazelle Indoor models) and an archival Mundial Team colourway. This adidas Gazelle Foot Industry “Black Cream” exudes a premium design overhaul clad in contrasting colours with vintage hits.

Founded by Zhao Ming in 2014, Foot Industry showcases renowned Japanese craftsmanship through various footwear designs. Following the brand’s debut collaboration in early 2023, this latest collaborative adidas x Foot Industry capsule takes the iconic Gazelle to greater heights. Highlighting the adidas Gazelle’s track and field pedigree, this iteration flaunts a black cow leather construction, accented with contrasting white stitching and cream white 3-Stripes that are enlarged and extend towards the eyestays to enhance the striking visuals of the sneaker.

The off-white leather heel tab displays co-branded Foot Industry and adidas Trefoil logos, while a debossed Gazelle bale subtly sits on the outer quarter panel. Additional adidas Trefoil symbols appear on the tongue and leather sockliner, a nod to the globally recognised logo that defined adidas Originals. True to the OG, the classic gum rubber cupsole delivers the finishing touch to this limited-edition collaboration.
