The spotlight is on founder and designer Gary Aspden as he celebrates the adidas Spezial’s 10th anniversary. The Pre-Spring 24 collection kicks off the commemorative milestone, composed of various SPZL models conceptualised by Aspden and his crew. The adidas Gazelle SPZL “Core Black” pays homage to the iconic Pulsebeat SPZL from ‘22, decked out in a stealthy colour palette that offers a premium, understated style.

This exclusive Gazelle rework flaunts a blacked-out upper constructed in suede with leather eyestays inspired by the adidas Brussels. The subtle 3-Stripes on the sidewalls blend with the triple black ensemble, allowing the oversized gold foil print to stand out. A classic bluebird print decorates the leather tongue, showcasing the brand’s signature Mod Trefoil logos. Rugged textures wrap around the all-black rubber foxing strip, covering the classic gum rubber sole below.
