adidas Y-3 Gazelle Black White

The influential Japanese designer, Yohji Yamamoto, has tied up once again with adidas to create a minimalist capsule. Meet the adidas Y-3 Gazelle Black White.

This Y-3 Gazelle is wrapped in black premium suede from heel to toe, including the sole. Yes, you heard that right. More on that later. The Three Stripes are also black suede and do away with the usual serrated edges. The Y-3-branded heel tabs are the only pop of white on the entire shoe. Luxe-looking gold foil Yohi Yamamoto branding stands out on the lateral mid-panels, right above the Three Stripes. The midsole is covered with premium suede except for a curved section towards the forefoot that reveals the rubber construction underneath. A rubber outsole with leather Y-3 branding in the middle completes the look of this shoe.
