Gerrit Jacob x adidas Gazelle Green

The German-born fashion designer making a name for himself in the realm of unapologetically garish fashion, Gerrit Jacob, has a new collaboration with adidas. Presenting one of the variants in the collection, the Gerrit Jacob x adidas Gazelle “Green”.

This Gazelle is completely airbrushed by Jacob in the titular green, mimicking fantastical flames inspired by dragons. The design is in line with the designer’s “German Kitsch” aesthetic that isn’t afraid to go over the top. The leather base and overlays of the shoe are in “colourless” white to better serve as a palette for the fiery green painted-on design. Even the Gazelle text branding on the lateral mid-panels is coated in green paint. White laces, sock liner and insoles wrap up the style of this sneaker.
