Turning Kareem-Abdul Jabbar’s vintage basketball shoe into a statement piece, New York-based designer Willy Chavarria unveils the adidas Jabbar Low “Off White Gold”. This limited-edition colourway is one of the latest additions to Chavarria’s growing portfolio with the 3-Stripes, known for curating elegant footwear and apparel inspired by his Mexican-American heritage.
This Jabbar Low dons an off-white leather construction with a minimalist rubber shell toe reminiscent of the Superstar. Perforations and serrated 3-Stripes decorate the quarter, while golden “Kareem” and “Willy” labels animate the lateral section. Additional co-branding appears on the sockliner and fold-over tongue, celebrating Chavarria’s runway-ready design ethos and Kareem’s basketball legacy. Elsewhere, the subtly debossed Trefoil logo rests on the heel tabs. A durable rubber cupsole provides stability and traction on any surface. This pair arrives in a special-edition shoe box with black co-branded dust bags.
