It doesn’t get more contemporary than the adidas P.O.D System Black Yellow. This is the latest innovation from adidas with two impressive technologies utilised for the first time ever. That’s right, this shoe not only features Boost but also includes an EVA foam midsole plate across the front of the shoe. That said, you can be assured of lightweight cushioning matched with hard-wearing durability.
This hybrid takes its name from the term “Point of Deflection”. It describes the ultimate impact cushioning from a combination of both BOOST and EVA foam. The pod-like structure complete with a division along the centre of the midsole makes the look especially contemporary.
The adidas P.O.D Black Yellow features lightweight mesh uppers that contour to the foot. This flexible material is made slightly more robust with Welded TPU stripes along the sidewall. The dark colourway is contrasted nicely by 90s-inspired neons. A volt plate rises from the midsole whilst light blue taping features to the lace surround.
