While this certainly isn’t their first collaboration, the Social Status x adidas P.O.D. Black Multi is definitely one of their best yet. Releasing through the Three Stripes’ Communitas initiative, this shoe was designed by the young people of Atlanta with hopes to empower future generations of creators.
Featuring a black upper, it’s crafted from a combination of breathable mesh and buttery suede for the best of both worlds. Purple, yellow, blue, green, and red accents feature for a vintage vibe, while a dash of light pink is embroidered onto the lacing system for a further pop of contrast. Down below, you’ll find the unique split midsole that the POD shoe is known for. Fusing a foam forefoot with a bed of Boost around the heel, these technologies come together for comfort that’s truly unrivalled.
Co-branding makes its way to the tongue and insoles, and to round it all off, the classic “adidas” logo is etched into the medial heel, completing the vintage vibe that’s sure to turn heads.
