Did you know that the adidas Samba is 73 years old? It was first introduced in 1950. It gained fame during the 1950 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, thus the moniker of “Samba”, a Brazilian music and dance genre. For a septuagenarian, this shoe remains sleek and stylish as ever. Take a closer look at one of its latest editions, the adidas Samba OG “Purple”.
This Samba OG has a pebbled leather upper in purple. The t-shaped suede toe cap also follows the same tonal hue. The serrated-edged 3-Stripes on the medial and lateral quarter panels are mismatched, pitch-black on the lateral side and purple on the medial side. White adidas branding can be found on the tongues whilst Samba text branding is stamped in gold foil on the lateral side walls. A high-traction caramel-coloured gum rubber outsole wraps up the design of this sneaker.
Grab the adidas Samba OG “Purple” on The Sole Supplier and never miss any new introductions from adidas’ release calendar.
