Caroline Hu x CLOT x adidas Samba Reverie Black

The Caroline Hu x CLOT x adidas Samba “Reverie Black” reinterprets the iconic terrace shoe with a contemporary material update. Co-signed by CLOT founder Edison Chen, the Spring/Summer 2024 “Reverie” collection by New York-based designer Caroline Hu pays homage to her specialisation of fabrics and award-winning haute couture pieces.

Inspired by hand pleating techniques, this fancy adidas Samba features black lace fabrics stacked atop one another, forming a distinct aesthetic. The white vertical textiles on the sidewalls represent the classic 3-Stripes, nodding to the terrace trainer’s OG design. The materials cover the leather shell and white hairy suede back tabs, whilst the tongue showcases a blue co-branded tag. A standard gum rubber sole sits underfoot, staying true to its football heritage.
