DingYun Zhang x adidas Samba Black

DingYun Zhang puts his name on the map with his stealthy take on the quintessential adidas Samba. The Chinese designer recently formed his eponymous fashion label in late ‘23 after spending years as protégé under luxury fashion labels, including Yeezy.

The limited-edition DingYun Zhang x adidas Samba “Black” boasts an all-black makeover, kitted in a glossy patent leather underlay. Smooth suede fabrics bolster the T-toe overlay and eyestays, maintaining a classic terrace shoe aesthetic. The signature 3-Stripes on the lateral and medial sidewalls blend with the shiny upper, while the adidas bluebird decorates the tongue. Thick foam padding bolsters the collar and rear, providing more comfort around the ankles. A low-profile black rubber sole sits underfoot, veering from the typical brown gum sole.
