Wales Bonner x adidas Samba Croc Collegiate Navy Wonder White

Wales Bonner and adidas take on another luxury leather for its Fall/Winter 2024 edition of the Samba. Previous collections has seen the duo adopt pony hair and leopard prints, with the two now opting for a crocodile leather edition. As the Samba is often considered the highlight of Bonner’s collections, you can rest assured this croc leather “Collegiate Navy” colourway will be the first to sell out.

Of course this is not actual crocodile leather as the retail price point would have been ten times higher, instead using a cut of premium faux croc leather that looks like the real deal. Regardless of that, the tasteful navy upper includes all the bells and whistles which elevates Bonner’s Samba into a higher tier. A cream set of 3-Stripes, gold eyestays and a woven leather tongue are but the cherry on top, complementing this luxury version of what was once a football icon.

Dark maroon gutting is yet another hue which adds to the regal palette, the leather interior a key part of the premium on-foot experience that each Wales Bonner x adidas Samba delivers. Such as with the previous WB projects, you can expect a special edition box along with an extra set of laces.

We reckon this latest Samba from Wales Bonner could take the number one spot for some of 3-Stripes afficionados out there, but we will have to see what people are saying after the release date.
