Wales Bonner x adidas Samba Millenium Desert Royal Blue

Wales Bonner and adidas unveil their latest collaborative project for SS24, which coincides with the London-based label’s 10th anniversary. The two partners have been producing hotly anticipated styles since their first team-up in 2020, leading to more collaborations blending avant-garde European fashion and the designer’s Jamaican heritage. Part of the limited-edition “Nappa Pack”, the Wales Bonner x adidas Samba Millenium “Pony Nappa” incorporates an eye-catching display of colours draped in premium materials.

This modernised indoor sports trainer flaunts a brown Nappa leather upper with a quilted forefoot inspired by classic football boots. Bright blue faux pony hair constructs the foxing and rear to form a striking contrast. The razor-edged 3-Stripes decorate the sidewalls, while the Trefoil logo embellishes the forefoot and heel tab. Co-branded labels adorn the tongue and sockliners. Green interiors produce a nature-inspired aesthetic, while the square chain stitch on the rear is a mainstay detail across Wales Bonner collaborations. Lightweight EVA foam midsole provides ample cushioning and shock absorption, backed by a rigid Torsion support bar and a gum rubber outsole.
