Wales Bonner and adidas join forces for SS24, featuring exclusive footwear and apparel inspired by the designer’s Afro-Atlantic heritage. The London-based designer celebrates the 10th anniversary of her eponymous fashion label, meaning we can expect more surprises and limited collaborations throughout the year. Following the appearance of the SL72 in a previous project, the adidas x Wales Bonner SL76 “Yellow” takes centre stage as the archival ‘70s trainer gets a luxe rework.

This super lightweight runner displays a vibrant yellow knit upper with fuzzy suede overlays on the toe, rear, and eyestays. Black leather 3-Stripes reinforce the side panels, complementing the back tab. The signature Trefoil emblem decorates the rear, accompanied by an oversized square chain stitch honouring Jamaican culture. Metallic D-rings embrace a utilitarian-inspired look, a welcome addition to the sleek SL76 design. Co-branded labels animate the tongue and sockliners for added flair. Dual-density EVA foam establishes the midsole to provide low-profile cushioning, shored up by a black race-ready ripple sole.
