Inspired by one of the UK’s great cities, the adidas GT Manchester SPZL Blue is scheduled to launch soon. It takes us right back to the days of Oasis, The Stone Roses and not forgetting the famed Hacienda nightclub. If you’re a fan of 90s nostalgia, you’ll be foaming at the mouth for this release. Let’s take a closer look at this design.
The GT SPLZ has long been a sneaker favourite for it’s unassuming design which pairs with everything from joggers to jeans and shorts. This versatility has made it a timeless classic with appeal throughout the year. That said, a Manchester inspired theme was also going to be sought after.
Premium leather adorns the upper with a synthetic padded tongue offering both comfort and support. The addition of red to the three stripe branding and heel overlay adds a nice contrast while a navy midsole keeps the ‘blue’ theme underfoot. Finally, classic adidas Originals branding is stamped throughout and the words ‘GT Manchester’ come inscribed to the sidewall in gold.
