adidas Hiaven SPZL Core Black

Legendary footwear designer and adidas Spezial founder Gary Aspden integrates two archival models to construct this brand-new silhouette built to withstand the rigours of the chilling winter months. The hybrid adidas Hiaven SPZL returns to the Spezial lineup shortly after debuting in the Pre-Spring 2023 roster. This time, the trail-ready sneaker aptly joins the adidas SPZL Autumn/Winter ‘23 collection in a “Core Black” ensemble practical for the season.

The adidas Hiaven SPZL borrows the upper aesthetic of the adidas Trekking Hi, one of the German sportswear giant’s pioneer hiking boots. It has an all-black palette, finely crafted in a premium leather base with suede overlays and a rubber mudguard to protect you from outdoor elements. Further reinforcing the heavy-duty upper is the built-in adi-Tex lining, referenced on the embossed lateral collar and the gusseted tongue to keep your feet dry and cosy throughout. Subtle serrated 3-Stripes decorate the sides, while the metallic hardware lace loops and two-tone flat laces resonate with the perspective of hiking shoes. A signature Mod Trefoil emblem adorns the heel panel, complemented by a classic adidas Spezial label on the tongue. The winterised upper rests atop the archival adidas LA Trainer sole minus the iconic shock-absorbing Peg system on the midsole. Durable nubs on the outsole with a pop of red adidas branding complete this stealthy silhouette.
