adidas Wensley SPZL Cardboard

Celebrating a decade of the adidas SPZL line, Gary Aspden has curated a range of exclusive styles for Pre-Spring 24. Making its long-awaited comeback in the roster is the Wensley Spezial, an archival-inspired model first launched in 2017. The adidas Wensley SPZL “Cardboard” lands in a neutral-toned ensemble in line with the season, updated and improved for more wearability.

Anchored by the Samba’s classic gum sole, this trainer flaunts an asymmetrical design inspired by vintage fencing shoes. This colourway features a light brown nylon base with hairy suede overlays covering the majority of the upper. The Trefoil and Mod Trefoil logos appear printed atop the padded suede tongue, a notable revamp to the unpadded version in 2017. Cream white tones engulf the razor-edged 3-Stripes on the sidewalls, complementing the laces. Co-branded labels on the sockliner utilise a vibrant blue hue, a nod to the iconic bluebird print.
