C.P. Company x adidas Italia Spezial Collegiate Royal

The stars have aligned for C.P. Company and adidas SPZL as they introduce their latest collaboration honouring the latter’s 10th anniversary. Offering a range of limited-edition footwear, apparel, and accessories, the capsule digs deep into the archives for inspiration, helping SPZL founder Gary Aspden and C.P Company president Lorenzo Osti deliver premium products with sublime quality. This C.P. Company x adidas Italia Spezial “Collegiate Royal” harkens back to the ‘60s to achieve a vintage aesthetic, a follow-up to the Italian flag-inspired iteration from FW21.

This lightweight retro trainer boasts a royal blue leather upper with a suede T-toe overlay reminiscent of old-school models. Clean white tones envelop the serrated 3-Stripes on the sidewalls, complementing the eyestay, back tab, laces, and inner lining. A gold foil “adidas Italia” callout adorns the lateral foxing, whilst co-branded logos, composed of the Trefoil, C.P. Company, and Mod Trefoil symbols, animate the tongue and sockliner. The EVA foam midsole provides low-profile cushioning, reinforced with a rubber toe bumper and a grippy gum outsole for all-day wear.
