Noel Gallagher x adidas SPZL Marathon Black Red

Legendary Britpop band Oasis has officially reunited, and so are the Gallagher brothers’ adidas SPZL collaborations. To honour the Tokyo leg of the highly awaited Live Tour ‘25, Spezial founder Gary Aspden unveils two Japan-exclusive colourways of the music icons’ signature shoes. Reinterpreting the vintage running trainer with a hybrid design, the Noel Gallagher x adidas SPZL Marathon “Black Red” is a fitting tribute to the singer-songwriter who contributed to the meteoric rise of British pop music.

This Marathon 85 boasts a black suede upper with vibrant red leather 3-Stripes and heel tabs, deviating from the previous rendition’s predominantly blue palette. The T-toe overlay respects the traditional design of the Herzogenaurach sportswear titan’s old-school models. Noel’s portrait animates the dimpled Ecotex tongue, similar to the signature models of the brand’s ‘70s athletes. A classic Trefoil adorns the rear, complementing the all-over branding on the sockliner. The clean white EVA midsole provides stable cushioning and long-lasting comfort. Meanwhile, the rugged outsole ensures durable traction, whether you’re performing on stage or watching among the crowd.
