Edison Chen officially introduces the CLOT x adidas Stan Smith “White Green”, a contemporary remake of the legendary tennis trainer. The collaboration marks another chapter for the Hong Kong-based label and the Brand with the 3-Stripes, embodying CLOT’s design ethos that united Eastern and Western cultures. To give you a little bit of a history lesson, the two companies previously worked on the Stan Smith sneaker in 2014 as part of a Consortium project.
This OG colourway flaunts a crisp white leather base with a reshaped toe box for a better fit. Perforated 3-Stripes decorate the sides, while a subtle Chinese text adorns the forefoot for additional flair. The verdant green heel tab nods to the classic colour scheme popularised by former world number one Stanley Roger Smith. The athlete’s face portrait embellishes the tongue to preserve the silhouette’s old-school style, while co-branded logos animate the cushioned sockliners. Like the CLOT x Gazelle, the rope midsole incorporates strong woven jute fibres Inspired by espadrille. A gum rubber sole sits underfoot for excellent traction on various surfaces.
Set to arrive on the 19th of July on the adidas website and select UK retailers, you can find out where to buy the CLOT x adidas Stan Smith “White Green” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
