adidas Superstar Black

adidas’ made-for-b-ball shoe that has become a streetwear staple, the Superstar, arrives in patent leather and a triple black treatment. First released in 1970, the Superstar had its first collab only in 2003. Tokyo-based musician and designer Nigo teamed up with adidas to create a Superstar collection which caused commotion worldwide. Presenting the latest release of the silhouette, the adidas Superstar “Black”.

This Superstar is black from heel to rubber shell toe. The entire shoe, except the toe, is constructed from glossy black patent leather. Even the serrated-edged 3-Stripes on both the medial and lateral mid-panels follow suit. Contrasting white adidas branding appears on the tongues whilst Superstar text branding in white embellishes the lateral quarter panels. An all-black rubber sole unit with a herringbone pattern on the tread wraps up the design of this sneaker.
