As adidas’ Terrace shoe line-up continues to grow in popularity, could this old favourite return to centre stage once again? Over the decades the adidas Superstar (or Shell-toe depending on your age) has risen to the top of mainstream footwear culture on a number of occasions; whether it was that infamous moment RUN DMC held up their Shell-toe on stage while performing their iconic “My adidas” song, the 35 limited editions that arrived as part of the silhouette’s 35th Anniversary in ’05 or even Pharrell’s Supercolor collection from 2015, the model is certainly a timeless piece in anyone’s wardrobe.
