adidas Superstar Navy

Did you know that 4,000 people all held up adidas shoes during a Run-DMC concert at Madison Square? The group had just released their renowned “My adidas” hip-hop song wherein the group was shown wearing tracksuits and Superstars. Just to test out how popular adidas was because of their song, Run, one of the band members, asked the audience to hold up their adidas shoes. And history was made. Introducing one of the latest editions of the silhouette, the adidas Superstar “Navy”.

This Superstar is navy from heel to toe. The upper is mostly glossy patent leather whilst the classic shell toe is rubber. adidas branding on the tongues is in slightly contrasting aqua green, matching the Superstar text branding on the lateral quarter panels. The jagged-edged 3-Stripes on the flanks are camouflaged due to their tonal treatment. A navy rubber sole unit with a zigzag chevron pattern on the outsole rounds out the style of this shoe.
