adidas Superstar Taegukdang

adidas pays homage to Seoul’s oldest bakery with the adidas Superstar Taegukdang! A deceptively simple pair featuring a cream toe and a bright white upper, this shoe is actually more intricate than what a passing glance may suggest. It comes with an intriguing pull tab that reveals a hidden Three Stripes branding once tugged down.

An obvious nod to the storied South Korean bakery comes at the heel tab which features the phrase “과자중의 과자” (translates to sweets among sweets in English) debossed onto the leather material. Rounding off this special edition adidas Superstar is a fun graphic on the outsole that depicts what appears to be a baker working at Taegukdang. Delicious design, indeed!
