CLOT x adidas Superstar Patchwork Sand

Brimming with rich textures and exquisite materials, the limited-edition CLOT x adidas Superstar “Patchwork Sand” showcases a fascinating remake of the shell-toed sneaker. This latest collaboration between Edison Chen’s Hong Kong-based design imprint and the Herzogenaurach sportswear giant coincides with the Superstar’s 55th anniversary, highlighting the vintage basketball shoe’s timeless design and era-defining history.

This “Patchwork” edition features a dark corduroy vamp with a sand brown suede eyestay for contrast. Multicoloured houndstooth textiles compose the forefoot and foxing panels, while off-white mesh fabrics cover the quarter. Beige leather 3-Stripes decorate the lateral and medial sidewalls, accentuated with dark green lines on the edges to make them stand out. An embossed CLOT logo rests on the leather heel tabs, complementing the co-branded details on the tongue and sockliner. Meanwhile, golden Chinese characters animate the outer portion of the upper as a nod to the silhouette. The two-tone brown and cream laces add more character to the elegant makeover. A minimalist rubber shell toe protects the front section, bolstered by an extra-durable ripple sole derived from the SL 72.
