CLOT x adidas Superstar Edison Chen

A juggernaut in the fashion realm, Edison Chen officially introduces the highly awaited collaboration between CLOT and adidas. Kicking off the whirlwind of exclusive styles is this CLOT adidas Superstar by Edison Chen in a "Core White Black" make-up. Revamping the timeless Shelltoe, this is a new chapter in which the Eastern and Western culture gap is beautifully tied together.

This limited-edition features the typical OG Superstar white and black make-up reconstructed in a premium leather, its smooth glossy finish edging towards that of a traditional Oxford shoe. The iconic Shelltoe has also been updated, dropping the textured finish and opting for tubed piping to represent the thick basketball-inspired lines. Black razor-edged 3-Stripes adorn the sidewalls, a motif that makes its way onto the panel edges and outsole below as the jagged lines tap into the traditionally flamboyant styles of formal footwear.

Brogue-inspired perforations decorate the quarter panels and black leather heel tabs, while the addition of the tassel on the tongue also fits the theme. Co-branded logos embellish the tongue and blue sockliners. Brown leather welt stitching bolsters the upper atop the elevated EVA wedge midsole, rounded out by a thick ripple sole that ushers in a distinct sophistication that is truly hard to ignore. We reckon this will add a solid inch to your height without having to go down the more obvious platform sole route like on the XLG series.
