The YAITO x adidas Superstar ‘92 “White Yellow Toe” headlines the ADILAND 2025 event to close out New York Fashion Week. Created by partners Tulie and Carlton Yaito, this collaboration reimagines the iconic sneaker with a bespoke makeover by dipping it in paint, which creates textural depth and an avant-garde style. This iteration, dubbed the “Banana Matcha”, delivers a designer fashion vibe through its vibrant palette.

This chunky Superstar flaunts a crisp white leather upper with classic black 3-Stripes and back tabs. A yellow pigment covers the sole and lower portions of the body, while green paint envelops the signature rubber shell toe detail. The thick brown laces elevate the silhouette’s beefed-up structure, nodding to the skate-inspired version from previous decades. The “Superstar” branding adorns the lateral quarter, complementing the Trefoil logo on the puffy tongue and rear. Herringbone treads on the outsole deliver grippy traction despite being covered in a layer of paint. This rendition includes a unique package that matches the multicoloured ensemble.
